Definition

Scraptroller

Refers to a player character who is a Scrapper Archetype, but utilizes various forms of control like the Controller Archetype. Usually this character uses a Dark Melee / Dark Armor power set combination. This term can also be used to describe a character of the Controller Archetype, but is heavily melee oriented like the Scrapper.


Controlling

The most common method for a Scraptroller (Of Scrapper Primary) to Control an enemy is through use of Fear. This is why Dark Melee and Dark Armor are chosen most often, as it has 2 Fear based powers. However, there are other means of controlling that are used. Such as Disorient, Immobilize and Knockback/Knockdown. However, the Scrapper version of the Scraptroller is rarely used ever since various Nerfs starting in Issue 2. The word is now mainly used to describe those of a Controller primary.
