Overview
Tip Missions are obtained by clues dropped off of enemies that are level 20 or higher, even if they con grey to you. They are part of the process to change or reaffirm a character's alignment. Even players who have not applied a Going Rogue code to their account can access Alignment Tip Missions and earn alignment points and Public Fame; they cannot continue on to the Morality Missions required to actually change or reaffirm alignment. In order to access a Morality mission you must earn ten points toward any respective alignment and receive a Morality Tip.
Once a Tip has been obtained, a mission block is added to Tips tab of the Contact Window. Any tip can be accepted or rejected from the Tips tab. You can only have three Tips at one single time.
Completing an Alignment Tip Mission will award characters with one point of Public Fame aligned with the mission (i.e. one point of Vigilante fame if the mission was a Vigilante mission) provided the character does not already have five points of Public Fame. Whenever a point of Public Fame is awarded, a character will earn a corresponding alignment point up to a maximum of 10 points.
