The article states a "hero that reaffirms their morality the first time obtains 50 Reward Merits", likewise for villains. Suppose I start as a hero. My first morality mission, I go Vigilante. My second morality mission, I go Villain. At this point, I haven't ''re''affirmed my morality as I only just transitioned to it; do I earn the 50 merits or not? My third morality mission, I go Rogue. My fourth morality mission, I go back to Hero again. At this point, I'm a hero again for the first time, but I'm not ''re''affirming the alignment since I wasn't holding it when I transitioned into it; do I earn the 50 merits or not? Further, Vigilante and Rogue indicate that first completion earns 30 merits and reaffirmations earn 60. Suppose I do the transition as Hero -> Vigilante -> Hero -> Vigilante. That second time I'm a Vigilante isn't a ''re''affirmation as I wasn't a Vigilante when I completed it; do I earn 60 merits, 30 merits, or no merits? | |||
My suspicion is that we should not be using the word "reaffirmation" here. My suspicion is that all of this is done on the basis of first versus subsequent ''completion'' of the morality mission. But as I've not tested it, I don't want to change it just based on a hunch. -- [[User:Sekoia|Sekoia]] 20:06, 6 May 2012 (UTC) |

Does it bug anyone else that none of the Morality missions columns on the bottom line up? --Thirty7 00:31, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

Reaffirmation versus completion
The article states a "hero that reaffirms their morality the first time obtains 50 Reward Merits", likewise for villains. Suppose I start as a hero. My first morality mission, I go Vigilante. My second morality mission, I go Villain. At this point, I haven't reaffirmed my morality as I only just transitioned to it; do I earn the 50 merits or not? My third morality mission, I go Rogue. My fourth morality mission, I go back to Hero again. At this point, I'm a hero again for the first time, but I'm not reaffirming the alignment since I wasn't holding it when I transitioned into it; do I earn the 50 merits or not? Further, Vigilante and Rogue indicate that first completion earns 30 merits and reaffirmations earn 60. Suppose I do the transition as Hero -> Vigilante -> Hero -> Vigilante. That second time I'm a Vigilante isn't a reaffirmation as I wasn't a Vigilante when I completed it; do I earn 60 merits, 30 merits, or no merits?
My suspicion is that we should not be using the word "reaffirmation" here. My suspicion is that all of this is done on the basis of first versus subsequent completion of the morality mission. But as I've not tested it, I don't want to change it just based on a hunch. -- Sekoia 20:06, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
