* At the levels where I thought I should have been able to access the second arc, Veluta wouldn't offer me any missions, so I never bothered to check with her again. When they added the little storybook icon next to contacts to indicate open arcs, I found that my character who was now 50 was showing an open arc with Veluta. I'm going back to clear the arc and fighting level 12s and 16s. Weird. ** No, despite evidence to the contrary, you aren't going crazy :P All partially completed story arcs are now able to be completed, based on the level that you left them. There was a good reason that escapes my memory but it came in with at least Issue 9. ANY contact with the story book icon sill now issue you missions to complete the arc. *** Nah, I get the part about open arcs being able to be completed. The part that confused me was that when I ''should'' have been able to get the arc to open in the first place, Veluta wouldn't even offer me the first mission of the arc. She just told me to go away. At some point between about level 14 and level 50, that arc magically opened its self up without me talking to Veluta again. ''That's'' the major chunk of what doesn't make sense to me. --[[User:Eabrace|Eabrace]] 02:47, 19 July 2007 (EDT) | |||

Notes
- At level 13, I was only able to do a 3-part story arc "Power of the Spirit", giving me the souvenir "Illicit copy of Malachai's Files". Her bar is not full, so it appears that she had at least one other mission that I'm too high for. Given the necessity of defeating at least 50 ghosts to speak to her, getting that last mission will be quite a feat.
- I can confirm that the Illicit copy of Malachai's Files is all I received after completing her missions at level 12. And it took a full night of ghost-trapping at my debt cap to get 50 ghosts at level 12. I will check into it further. --TonyV
- According to beta-testers (from the days when she was a contact gained from Mr. Bocor ), her other arc is 3 mission arc centered around helping a scientist studying the ghosts. The temporary rewards from those missions are an anti-ghost gun, and anti-ghost grenades.
- According to http://www.trueevil.org/trekain/contacts.html, the other arc is "An Arachnos Ghost Story" and the souvenir is "A fragment from the Spirit World". For levels 5-10. Crazy.
- At the levels where I thought I should have been able to access the second arc, Veluta wouldn't offer me any missions, so I never bothered to check with her again. When they added the little storybook icon next to contacts to indicate open arcs, I found that my character who was now 50 was showing an open arc with Veluta. I'm going back to clear the arc and fighting level 12s and 16s. Weird. Was there a bug with this contact at one point? --Eabrace 19:25, 1 July 2007 (EDT)
