:::As seen here, we were already discussing that. However, I don't think we should create a Special category that is ONLY for Candy Keeper items. As on the template talk page, I think it should be a "misc" section to catch everything not already established (and future weirdo sources) sounds good, and point to the main set page for an explanation of where they come from. -- Agge (talk) 21:05, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Obtaining it

Is this an enhancement drop/purchasable by merits, or is it, as rumored, a winter-event-only set? -- Aggelakis 17:24, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Winter's Event only, it seems. 50 Candy Canes for the Slow Resist, 40 each for the other two. Dr Toerag 15 December 2008
I think it would be very useful to include more information about the level of the enhancement. The article says Winter's Gift ranges from level 10 to level 50, but the Candy Keeper's recipes are all labeled level 1. Has anyone build/used this? Is it perhaps theoretically a range of 10-50, but is only available from the Candy Keeper at one specific level? What level is that? Or does it depend on the level of the character building it? Dark Horizon 08:01, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
As far as I know it is awarded at character level (not sure what happens with a character less than level 10 though.CmdrAdeon 18:21, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Recipe Pool

What do people think of adding a new "Special" recipe pool? Currently these are tagged as unknown origin which isn't true, but at the same time none of the standard pools is correct.CmdrAdeon 18:21, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

That's a good point. Let me play with the template a bit and see what I can come up with. --Eabrace 19:52, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
I modified the DropHeader template, so it should be usable. Don't think I broke anything, but have to run, so will have to check when I get back in a bit. --Eabrace 20:37, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
As seen here, we were already discussing that.
With the modifications I put in, if you don't specify the actual method for obtaining the recipe, the template will generate the following:
"This recipe cannot be bought from stores. It must be obtained by special means, from another player at Wentworth's or the Black Market, or by trading. It is special drop."
However, I built in the flexibility to specify the method for obtaining the recipe using an additional parameter ("special"). I didn't automatically link it to the main set page, but that could be done pretty easily within the "special" text. Anyway, the modifications I made to the template are very generic and not specific to the Winter Event or Candy Keeper items, so I think we're good to go here and we've got room for growth. --Eabrace 21:21, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
