My tinkering with this template was to keep the line divisions of Title2 from going through the box and to allow better word wrap around it. Zombie Man 04:02, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
Deletion
I've added a new template {{Navbox Badges}} and applied it to the relevant pages, and I think {{Badgenav}} should be deleted in favor of that new template. For now, I've suppressed Badgenav on those pages, but this is easily reversed if consensus says to keep Badgenav instead of Navbox Badges.
Specific reasons why I think we should retire Badgenav:
- It's very big. It dominated the pages it was on. A navigation box isn't supposed to do that.
- It didn't match the style of other navboxes.
- It sometimes interfered with the article's content (didn't play well with TOC and such) on some browsers.
- It does not accommodate Praetorian badges. Adding a third column to do so would be a disaster.
- Many of the Hero vs Villain links are redundant because they're the same link for both sides. The presentation obscures that.
- There's no room for anything new without making it even bigger. (Compare to Navbox Badges, which easily had room to add the "By Issue" badges.)
I'll leave this sit a few days before deleting, just in case. -- Sekoia 04:48, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
- The new one is so much easier to visually parse. I'm all for it. Zombie Man 16:36, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
