Overview
You have Mastery over Fire and Flame to control your foes and to add some much needed armor and defense. Flame Mastery is a Blaster Ancillary Powerset.
Power Tables
The following table shows which powers are available and at what level:

---|---|---|
Bonfire | 35 | Ranged (Location AoE), Minor DMG(Fire), Foe Knockback |
Char | 35 | Ranged, Moderate DoT(Fire), Foe Hold |
Fire Shield | 41 | Toggle: Self +Res(Fire, Cold, Smash, Lethal) |
Melt Armor | 41 | Ranged (Targeted AoE), Foe -Res, -DEF |
Rise of the Phoenix | 44 | PBAoE, Minor DoT(Fire), Self Rez, Special |

Fire Shield
While this power is active, you get a good resistance to lethal, smashing and fire damage. Fire Shield also provides minimal resistance to cold damage. You must be level 44 and have Bonfire or Char before selecting this power.

Effects | Toggle: Self +Resistance(Fire, Cold, Smashing, Lethal) |
Enhancements | Reduce Endurance Cost |
Increase Attack Rate | |
Enhance Damage Resistance | |
Set Categories | Resist Damage |
Melt Armor
The searing Heat from this power is enough to Melt the Armor and defenses of all targets in the affected area. Melt Armor significantly weakens the Defense and Damage Resistance of the affected targets. You must be level 44 and have Bonfire or Char before selecting this power.
Recharge | Long |
Minimum Level | 44 (Blaster) |
Effects | Ranged (Targeted Area of Effect) |

Rise of the Phoenix
If you are defeated, you can rise from the ashes. The fiery resurrection blasts nearby foes with an explosion and knocks them down. You will revive with about half of your hit points and endurance. Rise of the Phoenix will actually leave you invulnerable.
(Note: The Phoenix will strike a total of three times, with two seconds between strikes. Each strike automatically hits enemies within range and deals heavy damage, a magnitude 4 stun, and Knockback. If enemies stay within the 25' radius of the Phoenix's attack for all three strikes, nuke-level total damage and a very high magnitude of stun will be dealt. Powers that make enemies immune to Knockback (such as many holds and most immobilizes), enemies with inherent Knockback protection (such as Arch-Villains), and nearby walls and corners can all become tactically important when this power is used.)
