Definition
Ghosting
- Refers to when a player enters an instance and then drops from the team, allowing them to affect enemies without changing the XP from other team members. They usually act like a guardian for the team members, protecting them in various ways as they progress through the instance. (Ex. Taunting enemies to keep Aggro, Healing and Buffing other characters, Debuffing enemies)
- Refers to the means by which a player bypasses most of the enemies in a mission by using stealth and other means.
- Refers to a bug when a server gets out of sync with a player, where the player can see everything as it is happening normally, but nothing they say or do can be seen by other players.
