Overview
Kinetic Melee is a primary powerset for Brutes, Scrappers, and Stalkers, and a secondary powerset for Tankers, that was announced as a feature for Going Rogue. It is thought that Kinetic Melee powers increase your damage with each hit, as well as decreasing the damage of enemies. This is supported by info found in the game for a "Kinetic Strike" power owned by the Syndicate enemy group in Going Rogue.
Developer Comments
In a forum post, Castle made the following cryptic remark:
- [quoted] Shouldn't Kinetic Melee have an inherent power that makes your attacks stronger the more you are hit?
- Powersets don't tend to get Inherent powers. Archetypes do.
- That said...you are on the right track, aside from that.
