I don't know how notable this is, but he has more than a little in common with the villain [[Wikipedia:List_of_Cowboy_Bebop_characters#Vicious|Vicious]] from the anime [[Wikipedia:Cowboy Bebop|Cowboy Bebop]]. Both are somewhat effeminate, katana-wielding hitmen for a crime syndicate, and they share a name.
