After I moved the Steampunk Costume Set to its own article, I noticed that there are many others which also need the same treatment. Is that an appropriate plan or is there a reason to leave each set detail here? My guess is that the original data got put here before other pages were created and now it is a mix of both kinds. — MrDolomite • Talk 16:13, 17 June 2012 (UTC) | |||
:I've actually slowly been in the process of doing just that, deleting info from this page as new articles are created. This was the original page for costume information, but it became too cumbersome to navigate as so many more costume sets were added. The current plan is to make this a summary/directory of all costume sets that points to the individual articles with full details. (In fact, Steampunk was one set that I hadn't decided how to handle since there's a standard set and a purchased set that basically have the same name.) — talk / contribs 17:31, 17 June 2012 (UTC) |

To Do
- Finish filling in details for Female costumes.
- Check Huge costumes to see if any are different from Male costumes.
- Check to make sure that templates exist for all Upper and Lower Body categories.

Templates
Ideas for further fleshing out the templates:
- the header rows in each sub-table could probably use some coloration or something to set them apart from the data rows
- will need conditional logic in Head, UpperBody, and LowerBody tables due to the fact that display of some options in the costume creator are dependent on the selection at the top (i.e. "Helmet" setting isn't an option when "Head" is set to "Standard" and "Face" isn't an option when "Head" is set to "Full Helmets".)
- probably best implemented with sub-sub-tables that are called depending on value of the top setting (i.e. in Head sub-table, if Head=Full Helmets, call to FullHelmet sub-sub-table.)

Moving information to own articles
After I moved the Steampunk Costume Set to its own article, I noticed that there are many others which also need the same treatment. Is that an appropriate plan or is there a reason to leave each set detail here? My guess is that the original data got put here before other pages were created and now it is a mix of both kinds. — MrDolomite • Talk 16:13, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- I've actually slowly been in the process of doing just that, deleting info from this page as new articles are created. This was the original page for costume information, but it became too cumbersome to navigate as so many more costume sets were added. The current plan is to make this a summary/directory of all costume sets that points to the individual articles with full details. (In fact, Steampunk was one set that I hadn't decided how to handle since there's a standard set and a purchased set that basically have the same name.) — talk / contribs 17:31, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
