::Correct.  If you had an active account between August 15, 2009 and November 15, 2009, your account is flagged for the Loyalty badges.  If you create a new Hero, the character gets the Vigilant badge at creation.  If you create a new Villain, the character gets the Determined badge at creation.  Those are actually the same badge in-game with different icons, names, and descriptions based on alignment.
::Along come Praetorians.  Praetorians are neither Hero nor Villain at creation, so the game won't award them with either Vigilant or Determined.  And the implementation of badges only allows for the definition of Hero/Villain alignments on a badge (therefore, not Hero/Villain/Praetorian).  So a new badge was created for Praetorians and given Hero/Villain definitions.  (The damage taken, debt, level, badges collected, and healing badges for Praetorians are in the same boat.)  The way the Praetorian badges have been defined, the name and description won't change when you eventually decide whether to follow the path of Hero or Villain at 20 but the icon will be different for Heroes and Villains.--[[User:Eabrace|Eabrace]] [[File:Healthbar notify phone.png|20px|link=User talk:Eabrace]] 19:53, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

This looks like the Praetorian version of the Loyalty Program badge from last year. So the article text is correct. I don't know why it shows both the Hero (Vigilant Badge) and the Villain (Determined Badge) icons. Need to verify that one. ~ User:Aggelakis/Sig1 00:34, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
Correct.
Along come Praetorians. (The damage taken, debt, level, badges collected, and healing badges for Praetorians are in the same boat.) The way the Praetorian badges have been defined, the name and description won't change when you eventually decide whether to follow the path of Hero or Villain at 20 but the icon will be different for Heroes and Villains.--Eabrace Healthbar notify phone.png 19:53, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
