Explosion In Peregrine
A sudden explosion coming from an office building in Peregrine Island catches your eye.
The ensuing shockwave from the explosion nearly knocks you from your feet. People stream past you in waves, running for their lives. A very concerned citizen recognizes you and approaches you.
Character! Oh, Character! It's terrible. That crazy pyromaniac Flambeaux and her cronies attacked my office building. I don't know what they're up to... Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse that so-called hero Blast Furnace charged in there with a handful of Malta agents to save the day. When he couldn't defeat Flambeaux, and her Freakshow friends, he began setting up explosives in an attempt to destroy the building hoping he would take Flambeaux with it. You've got to stop them both! please, there are still people in that building!
You could stop both Blast Furnace and Flambeaux before they cause too much damage.
Alternatively you could help Blast Furnace set up explosives to take out Flambeaux.
Hero Acceptance
Briefing
You're not sure what Flambeaux is doing in that office building, but both she and Blast Furnace are causing significant damage to the building and putting lives in jeopardy. You've got to get in there and take down Flambeaux and Blast Furnace, as well as get rid of any explosives the vigilante has set up.
Stop both Flambeaux and Blast Furnace from destroying the office.
What is Blast Furnace thinking? Does he realize he's going to harm the very people he's sworn to protect by setting up those explosives? Both Flambeaux and Blast Furnace must face justice for their actions.
Mission Objective(s)
Techno music and the sounds of panicked office workers fills the halls of this office, but above the din you can hear the shrill voice of a worked up Flambeaux.
- Save the Office
- 2 Explosives to disarm, Defeat Blast Furnace, Defeat Flambeaux
You defeated Flambeaux and prevented her from taking revenge on the Paragon Caper.
Blast Furnace must have been really steamed by his encounter with Flambeaux. These bombs would not only have likely killed her, but they'd do enough damage to the neighboring buildings to bring them down as well.
You've found the reason for Flambeaux's attack. This office is actually covertly home to the Paragon Caper, a tabloid that focuses mainly on super powered citizens. This issue has some rather unflattering things to say about Flambeaux. There's even some choice words for Blast Furnace, calling him a wishy-washy coward for turning his back on the people of Paragon City. Maybe he's not here for Flambeaux after all.
'Okay. I'll talk. I can't stand it, these tabloids think they can publish anything they want! They think I've turned my back on the people of Paragon! Can you believe it? I've done so much for this city, and this is how they repay me? Malta offered to help me take down Flambeaux, even though that's not what I was after. I was so desperate to burn this place to the ground I accepted their offer, fully aware of the likelihood that they'd turn on me.
'Idiots! Why can't they see how great I am? They called me a turncoat, a villain! A VILLAIN! Also, the pictures they took of me were, like, totally awful. They all deserve to burn.

Help Blast Furnace set up explosives to ensure no villains escape.
