The Overleveled badge is a bit of a special case in that it was the old Trustworthy badge, renamed. Most of the veteran level badges were repurposed from the old paragon rewards badges (which themselves had been repurposed from the veteran rewards badges in [[Issue 21]]). The next badge in line, [[Faithful Badge]] is an example. Note at the top of that badge page is a note that states "This article is about the Paragon Rewards Program badge. For the Veteran Rewards Program badge, see Faithful Badge (Vet)." It might be prudent for any paragon rewards badges that were repurposed to veteran level badges without renaming to create a historic copy of that paragon rewards badge. Then at the top of the Faithful veteran level badge, include a similar statement along the lines of:

Badge template

I checked the existing badges and couldn't find one that had been converted for the veteran level badges, so I took a stab at creating a template using the Overleveled Badge page. Feel free to alter that as necessary.

The Overleveled badge is a bit of a special case in that it was the old Trustworthy badge, renamed. Most of the veteran level badges were repurposed from the old paragon rewards badges (which themselves had been repurposed from the veteran rewards badges in Issue 21) without renaming, and the History section will be altered slightly to reflect that. The next badge in line, Faithful Badge is an example.

"This article is about the Veteran Level badge. For the Paragon Rewards Program badge, see Faithful Badge (PR) and for the Veteran Rewards Program badge, see Faithful Badge (Vet)."

The (PR) is an abbreviation for Paragon Rewards, and is just a suggestion for a way of differentiating the historic badge.

The icons for the Veteran Reward Badges should be fine to re-use for the Veteran Level badges up to level 87. Icons for badges 90, 93, 96, and 99 have been uploaded as 'Vet_level_9x.png' where x is 0, 3, 6, or 9 as appropriate.

My hope is that, once several folks have had a chance to review/alter the template as necessary, we can finalize it then start creating the pages for the rest of the veteran badges. --AboveTheChemist (talk) 18:32, 23 May 2020 (UTC)

I honestly don't feel the need to keep around references to the Paragon Rewards Program that Homecoming has never had. I suggest if such notes are to be added, they should be added at the bottom of the page, not the top. Thunderforce (talk) 23:32, 23 May 2020 (UTC)
I'm afraid I've slightly jumped the gun by creating Battle Hardened Badge (Rewards Program). I think this is a better parenthetical note than (PR) because eg in the BadgeLink template it will be more clear. Thunderforce (talk) 18:10, 24 May 2020 (UTC)
All that sounds good. I think adding a quick note in the History section would work fine. And the (PR) was just something I threw out there, so if you have something that works better, go for it. --AboveTheChemist (talk) 19:30, 24 May 2020 (UTC)

I have gone through all the Paragon Rewards Program and AE badges that were repurposed to veteran level badges in Issue 25 and moved them to their 'archive' designations, either (Rewards Program) or (AE), respectively. This should free up those pages (the majority of which now exist as redirect pages to those 'archive' badges) for the creation of the veteran level badges using the Overleveled Badge template. If anyone else has any suggestions/comments for the template, feel free to include them. I plan to wait a few days for any other comments, then this weekend I'll start building the veteran level badges using that template. --AboveTheChemist (talk) 01:59, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

I'm happy with it now. Thunderforce (talk) 15:28, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
