Overview
The Vindicators are a hero group led by Ms. Liberty. They can often be found with Longbow fighting Arachnos in the Rogue Isles.
History
The Vindicators believe in second chances and are willing to see the good in heroes that might have previously strayed from the path. This can be seen most recently when they recruited Malaise into their ranks.
Architect Entertainment Description
This group was formed by Ms. Liberty to aid redeemed villains, dark heroes, and visitors from other dimensions. Filled with outcasts and misfits, it has become a dynamic force for unity in Paragon City and shows what good can come from second chances.

These vicious creatures serve Infernal only because he forces them to. By subverting their will through the use of ancient mystic rituals he creates permanent servants. If his control begins to wane over a particular demon, he performs another ceremony and binds it permanently into his weapons or armor to increase their strength.

Before the Rikti War, Aurora Scott was just a fledgling hero doing her best for the city she loved. Afterward, she was something else entirely. Aurora played host to Sister Psyche's mind after the Freedom Phalanx heroine was injured in the war. After gladly sacrificing her autonomy so that Sister Psyche could continue to serve, Aurora's just now returning to her own life. And she's got a few bones to pick with the villains who flourished in her absence.

This powerful attack deals Psionic damage, and is so painful it usually renders its target unconscious. The victim is asleep, and will wake if disturbed.

Psychic Wail is a devastating Psionic attack that wracks the minds of all nearby foes. Those that survive will have a severely reduced attack rate and may be left Disoriented.

Painfully scrambles the synapses of a targeted foe, leaving him dramatically Disoriented for a short duration. Deals a little Psionic Damage.

You can explode in a tremendous blast of energy, sending nearby foes flying. The Nova deals massive damage to all nearby foes, although the damage does vary. Activating this power leaves you drained of Endurance, and unable to recover any Endurance for a while.
EM Pulse (Only Level 40 and up) Point Blank Area of Effect, High Energy Damage, Foe Hold, -Regeneration, -Endurance
You are Held by the EMP Pulse and your Regeneration Rate is reduced.
Total Focus (Only Level 40 and up) Melee, Extreme Damage(Energy/Smash), Foe Disorient
Total Focus is complete mastery over Energy Melee. This is a very slow, but incredibly devastating attack that can knock out most opponents, leaving them Disoriented. Due to the exhausting nature of Total Focus, recharge time is very long.

Megan is the daughter of the original Miss Liberty from the Golden Age. She has taken up the mantle to fight for freedom, in this specific case to free Paragon City from its villain infestation. Katherine Stevens was a young college student who was transformed against her will by cruel Crey experimentation. After escaping from Crey, she was discovered on the streets by Synapse, of the Freedom Phalanx, who helped her regain control and recover her memory. Now she uses her superhuman reflexes and implanted battle claws to hunt crime in the urban jungle of Paragon City.

Mynx can project a burst of focused power. Focus only travels a short distance, but it can also knock down foes.

Your Quick reflexes allow you to move faster than normal, as well as resist slow effects. This power is always on and permanently increases your attack rate and movement speed.
Elude Self +Defense, + Speed, +Recovery, +Resistance(Defense Debuff), +Special
You can improve your reflexes, making yourself so quick you can Elude almost any attack, be it ranged, melee, or area effect. Your running speed, jumping height, and Endurance Recovery are also increased. Elude also grants you high resistance to Defense DeBuffs. When Elude wears off, you are left drained of all Endurance and unable to recover Endurance for a while.
Swan

Lena Elliot was touched by magic from the moment she was born on the Vernal Equinox. Both her parents were powerful mystics, and performed a ceremony to bless Lena’s birth. Shortly after her 21st birthday, Lena’s parents were caught in the middle of a battle between the Circle of Thorns and the 5th Column. The groups were seeking a pair of rings that had been in the Elliot family for generations. Lena’s powers manifested, and she instinctively protected herself and her parents. Manticore had been following the 5th Column group and came to the Elliots’ aid. The battle was going poorly, when Lena lashed out with her psychic abilities, stunning many of the villains. Manticore mopped up the rest, but not before the 5th Column managed to escape with Lena’s parents. Manticore offered Lena the chance to fight at his side, and she jumped at the opportunity. As Swan, she aids him in his relentless war against the 5th Column, in the hopes that one day she will find her parents alive.

Valkyrie
Main Article: Valkyrie
Valerie Kellum was an archeologist who discovered what she first took for an ancient spear. A more careful examination led to the realization that the spear had a technological component. She traveled around Europe looking for ideas about its origin and ended up in a local Crey facility. When a Crey security team tried to take the weapon from her, it activated and injected Valerie with advanced nanites that transformed her into Valkyrie, an extraordinary warrior with a completely different personality. She broke free and traveled to Paragon City where Positron is helping her come to terms with her new identity.

Rise of the Valkyrie Resurrect
Should you fall in battle, you can Revive yourself from the brink of death. You will revive with most of your Hit Points and half your Endurance and be protected from XP Debt for 20 seconds.
Once Rise of the Valkyrie is activated, Moment of Glory will be automatically activated.
Moment of Glory Self +Resistances (All Damage but Psionics), -Hit Points
When you activate this power, you lose almost all of your Hit Points and can no longer Regenerate Hit Points, However, you become Resistant to all damage types except Psionics, recover Endurance more quickly, and are highly resistant to Sleep, Disorient, Immobilization, and Hold effects.
Moment of Glory is only used after Rise of the Valkyrie is activated.

Woodsman

The Woodsman was once a renowned hero who helped keep the world of mankind in balance with the forces of nature, fighting against those who would destroy or corrupt nature for their own ends. He came to a tragic end when he was captured by the Devouring Earth, who used his link with the earth to destroy Woodvale and carve out their own territories. Though the Woodsman's physical body perished at the hands of the Devouring Earth, his spirit was freed through the actions of the city's heroes. Now he lives on as a spirit of nature, at one with the wild places of the Earth, helping heroes carry on the fight for the safety of the world.
Powers
Entangle Ranged, moderate Damage over Time (Smashing, Lethal), Immobilize
Immobilizes your target by Entangling their feet in a twisted mass of thorny roots. The roots do smashing and lethal damage to the target over time. More resilient foes may require multiple applications to Immobilize. Entangle can immobilize flying targets, if they are near the ground when attacked.
Strangler Ranged, moderate Damage over Time(Smashing), Hold
Holds a distant foe by Strangling him with massive root-like vines. The target is held helpless, while he is slowly crushed by the vines.
Roots Ranged (targeted Area of Effect), Moderate Damage over Time (Smashing, Lethal), Immobilize
Immobilizes a group of foes by entangling their feet in a twisted mass of thorny Roots. Roots is slower and does less damage than Entangle, but it can capture multiple foes in one attack. Like Entangle, Roots can immobilize flying targets, if they are near the ground when attacked.
Spore Burst Ranged (targeted Area of Effect), Sleep
You hurl a large fungi pod at your foes. This pod is full of Spores that burst on impact, engulfing the target and all those around him. All affected targets may succumb to the narcotic effect of the Spores and will fall asleep. The targets will remain asleep for some time, but will awaken if attacked.
Spirit Tree Place Tree: (Point Blank Area of Effect) Heal
You can tap into the elusive and powerful energy of the World Tree and extract a Spirit Tree at a targeted location. The Sprit Tree is immobile, but possesses incredible regenerative powers. The Regeneration Rate of you, or your allies, will be greatly increased as long as you are near the Spirit Tree.
Vines Ranged (targeted Area of Effect), Hold
Creates a field of Strangler Vines that can Hold multiple foes at range. The affected targets are held helpless by the massive root-like vines. Unlike the power Strangler, this power does not deal any damage, but it can Hold multiple foes at once.
Seeds of Confusion Ranged (Cone), Confuse
You throw a handful of seeds from a rare Baffle plant at your foes. The seeds spread out in a wide cone and release a dusty chaff that contain a number of alkaloids and hallucinogenic compounds. Foes that come into contact with these seeds become violently confused and will turn and attack each other, ignoring you and all your allies. You will not receive any Experience Points for foes defeated entirely by Confused enemies.
Propel Boulder Ranged Smash (high), Knockback
You are able to tear up a chunk of ground beneath your feet and Hurl it at an enemy. This attack is deals moderate damage, and can knock foes back and even drop them out of the air if they are flying.
Stump Toss Ranged, moderate damage (Smash), Knockback, -Fly
