Overview
Energy Assault is one of the powersets. It is a Dominator secondary powerset in City of Villains.
Focus pure energy into deadly melee attacks and powerful projectiles. The impact of the melee powers can often disorient opponents, while the velocity of the ranged projectiles can send your enemies flying.

Dominator
The Energy Assault powerset is available as a secondary set for Dominators. The following table shows which powers are available and at what level:

Bone Smasher
This melee attack can be slow, but it compensates by dealing a good amount of damage and having a better chance to disorient than Energy Punch.

A quick attack that rapidly hurls small bolts of energy at foes, sometimes knocking them down. Fast, but little damage.

Power Boost
Greatly boosts the secondary effects of your powers. Your powers' effects like heals, defense buffs, endurance drains, disorients, holds, immobilizes, knockbacks and more, are all improved. The effects of Power Boost last a short while, and only the next couple of attacks will be boosted.
Note: This power improves the strength of your Heals, Endurance drains and gifts, Runspeed powers, Flight powers, Defense buffs and debuffs, and ToHit buffs and debuffs, as well as the duration of your Sleep, Hold, Disorient, Immobilize, Fear, and Confuse status effects. It does not increase the strength of your Knockback effects. That part of the power description is outdated.

Total Focus
Total Focus is complete mastery over Energy Melee. This melee attack is a very slow, but incredibly devastating attack that can knock out most opponents, leaving them disoriented. Due to the exhausting nature of Total Focus, recharge time is very long.
