Incarnate

Incarnate is a special origin not available to players. Incarnates are humans who have drunk from the Fountain of Zeus at the Well of the Furies, empowering them with the powers of the gods themselves. As such, they are substantially more powerful than most other superbeings.

Currently, at most seven characters in the game have Incarnate powers. The last three are not definite, though it is brought up in the Lord Recluse Strike Force as a mission:

• Statesman (Marcus Cole) gained the Incarnate powers of Zeus.
• Lord Recluse (Stefan Richter) gained the Incarnate powers of Tartarus.
• According to the Lore of S'silur, an unknown pregnant woman is said to have gained the powers of the Gorgon Stheno, sister of Medusa, and her progeny are the Snakes.
• Trapdoor received great Teleportation powers from the Well, although no detail about his origin exists. It is possible he was given his powers from impure samples of the Fountain Lord Recluse kept.
• Tyrant, in his own dimension, drank from the Well of the Furies to gain god-like powers.
• Reichsman, in his own dimension, drank from the Well of the Furies to gain god-like powers.
• Imperious is said to be an Incarnate, by Ashley McKnight and Montague Castanella when they send you to meet him in Cimerora. Incarnate is said to be an Origin that has been completely absent for quite some time.
• Ms. Liberty (and by extension, Miss Liberty and Maiden Justice) possesses/possessed the Girdle of Hera, which was said to have powers derived from the Well of the Furies. Both Ms. Liberty and Miss Liberty also possess some measure of superpowers genetically inherited from the patriarch of the family, Statesman, who himself derived his powers from the Well of the Furies.

Outlined Going Rogue & Issue 19 Changes

At PAX East 2010, Matt Miller announced the upcoming Incarnate system, which will be an "endgame system". This will not be a new Epic Archetype, but each level 50 character will have access to Incarnate abilities, levels, and rewards. The first additional level is planned to be part of Going Rogue with the rest as part of Issue 19. The Going Rogue expansion will be required to gain access to the Incarnate system.
