Overview
Incarnate Components are used to craft new Incarnate Abilities added in Issue 19.
A purchase of the Going Rogue expansion is required for players to access the Incarnate System.
Details
Alpha Components
Incarnate Components used in the Alpha Slot are acquired after unlocking the Alpha Slot from Mender Ramiel's story arc, by:
- Completion of Mender Ramiel's story arc (1 Incarnate Shard)
- Completion of the following Task Forces, Strike Forces, Trials, and Raids as a reward:
- Barracuda Strike Force (Dimensional Keystone)
- Dr. Kahn Task Force (Dimensional Keystone)
- Imperious Task Force (Ancient Nictus Fragment)
- Lord Recluse Strike Force (Essence of the Incarnate)
- Statesman's Task Force (Essence of the Incarnate)
- The Lady Grey Task Force (Hero 1 DNA Sample)
- Cathedral of Pain Trial (Penumbra of Rularuu)
- Hamidon Raid (4 Incarnate Shards)
- Conversion of 150 Vanguard Merits into one Gr'ai Matter
- Random drop of Incarnate Shard from any even-con or higher enemy, of which four to eight can be used to form a new Component. Because the drop roll is per enemy, per person, an enemy might drop a Shard for every member of the team, making it possible (but not very likely) that a single enemy could drop eight Shards.
Judgement, Destiny, Lore, Interface
Incarnate Components used in the Judgement, Destiny, Lore, and Interface Slots are available by completing objectives in, and the successful completion of, the Incarnate Trials:
In addition, Incarnate Threads plus inf can be used to create any of the other Components. Threads drop from enemies defeated in the Trials, and from the following Task Forces:
- Apex Task Force (2 Incarnate Threads)
- Tin Mage Mark II Task Force (2 Incarnate Threads)
Threads are also available as conversions from Shards, at a 10:10 ratio plus 2.5 million inf once every 20 hours, and at a 10:5 shards to threads ratio plus 2.5 million inf at any time.
NPC Sale Value
Incarnate Components cannot be sold to NPC stores or contacts. They cannot be traded or emailed to other players, nor can they be placed on Wentworths or the Black Market.
Storage
Incarnate Components are bound to the character who obtains it. The upper limits to how much a character can store is currently unknown.
