An easy way to get this (as well as other) damage badge

A simple way to get this badge is to take a paper mission... in my case I found Circle of Thorns to be best, but you can experiment. Using a hold of any sort (or non-AoE attacks) defeat all BUT ONE enemy in the first group that you encounter; it would be wise if the enemy left was a minion, and not anything higher. Then, hold that enemy / use some purple inspirations, and simply start to rest. The enemy will do more damage, but you should heal up fast enough thanks to the +regen from Rest.

I found that I've been most successful with Circle of Thorns Ice Thorn Casters.

A few things to consider:
  • The minion MUST NOT be able of mezzing you, or it will knock you out of Rest.
  • Watch out for NPC with very high burst damage (werewolves, for example), they might just kill you outright.
  • Scrapper, Tanks and Brutes can improve efficeincy by slotting Rest for Heal, other ATs have it cap by default.
