Overview

Con System is short for Consideration System. It is a color coded way to consider how difficult it will be to defeat a particular target.

The Con System will change the color of your target's name based on its relative level as well as its rank. This is called the Con color. (some may refer it as Con rank, or Con level)

Underlings, Minions, Lieutenants, Bosses, Elite Bosses and Archvillains or Heros will all have different Con colors at the same level.

Con Color Ranks

The following is a list of Con colors and their ranks. Lowest to Highest

Grey (-3)
Green (-2)
Blue (-1)
White (+0)
Yellow (+1)
Orange (+2)
Red (+3)
Purple (+4)

Designation

Both your level in comparison to the enemy and their rank affects their con color.

To determine Con color, take your level and subtract their level and then add their rank. See examples below.

Level Comparison

For an even level minion, they will have a con color of white. The higher your level compared to them, the lower their con color will be.

Rank Comparison

The higher an enemies rank, the higher their con color will be.

  • Underling (-1)
  • Minion
  • Lieutenant (+1)
  • Boss (+2)
  • Elite Boss (+3)
  • Archvillain, Heroes or Monsters (+4)

Notes

  • Giant Monsters will always con purple to everyone no matter what level they are.
  • There are 2 shades of grey for targets conning -5 and -6, but the difference is negligible.
  • Conning errors do occur, examples:
    • Most Elite Bosses will con as regular bosses, +2.
    • Minions and pets spawned from Rikti Portals usually have a con +1 that of normal.
