Protect Founders' Falls bank
While listening for the latest signs of trouble, you hear a call asking for heroes to speak with Detective - Protect Founders' Falls bank directly. Something big is happening.
Briefing
We have reports of an attack by the Council against the Founders' Falls bank! The situation is dire, and we need a hero or a team of heroes to head to Founders Falls and stop that attack! The robbery is in progress, so you won't have more than 5 minutes to thwart the heist before they make an escape. There are rumors that Arachnos may have loaned the Council one of their elite villains to this mission, so be ready to call for back up.
This is a Safeguard mission. Once you prevent the heist, you will have 15 minutes to explore the area and potentially earn extra rewards before the P.P.D. lock down the area. You can earn extra time by defeating vandals and completing side missions.
Mission Acceptance
The Council and the villain aren't the only problem. Word has it that Crey Industries has decided to test their latest "Defensive Weaponry" by trying it out during the cover of the attack! The more you stop them, the less of a chance their weapons testing will bear fruit.
Periodically, vandals will arrive to destroy parts of the city. You will see a message when they arrive, and their locations will be displayed in your minimap.
Mission Refusal
What?! I understand, Character. You no doubt have some very important things to do. We'll do our best to stop them, but it doesn't look good.
Unnecessary Solicitation
Go protect Founders' Falls!
Mission Objective(s)
Founders' Falls. A bastion of true beauty, marred by the presence of the Crey Corporation lining the streets. The Council are standing at alert at certain locations, while causing a distraction by destroying property in others. You've been tipped off that Arachnos will lead the charge to the bank, so stay alert!.
- Protect Founders Falls bank
You saved Founders' Falls!
Primary Enemies
BUG?:During this mission, the group attacking the bank will be Arachnos troops, though the briefing describes them as Council. They even have Council names, so I'm suspecting the spawns are messed somehow. Besides, there are other minor bugs: the boss in my Arson mission was an Ascendant Archon with the name "Galaxy Archon", and NPCs in the streets will mention later the attacking group in Founders as "The Family".
Possible Villains
Side Missions
Keys for side missions can be found by defeating Council groups.
Prevent Arson
These are massive fire bombs the Council were going to set in a nearby building. Go in and stop the arson attempt
Prevent Bombing
These are massive fire bombs the Council were planting underneath the city. Find and defuse the rest of them!!
Prevent Jailbreak
A wanted poster of Silent Blade
or
A wanted poster of Critical Mass
Prevent Vault Break-In
A fancy ad showing all the expensive products in the store.
Prevent Weapons Deal
A cargo manifest that details a shady arms shipment and where it is stored.
Exploration Badge
Heroes can earn the Founders' Protector Badge during this mission. Its coordinates are (3233, 0 , 2055).
The whimsical Gamester placed several presents all throughout Peregrine Island during the holidays. This block had a few of them.
Temporary Power
Upon successful completion of this mission for the first time, a hero will earn the Life Insurance temporary power.
Debt protection
Any debt you incur is reduced. This effect lasts for 2 days of gameplay.
Debriefing
Excellent work, Character! You have prevented the villains from causing mayhem in Founders' Falls!
Mission Failure
You did your best, I guess this task was just too much for you.
