This encounter spawns on the beachfront following the defeat of the Phalanx Computer objective in Mission 3, with a special cutscene. Strategically, a team will want to split up Dextro and Laeva, as they have abilities that strengthen the attacks of eachother. However, at certain health thresholds, the other Goliath will move to the position of the weakened one, forcing continued kiting over the course of the encounter. Both Goliaths also have powerful cone attacks with a long range, meaning tanks will want to position their target facing away from the rest of the team, who will want to actively position behind the Colossi. | |||

The Aereus Colossi are a special 5th Column encounter in the Imperious Task Force exclusive to Advanced Difficulty.
Summary and Fundamental Strategy
This encounter spawns on the beachfront following the defeat of the Phalanx Computer objective in Mission 3, with a special cutscene. Strategically, a team will want to split up Dextro and Laeva, as they have abilities that strengthen the attacks of eachother. However, at certain health thresholds, the other Goliath will move to the position of the weakened one, forcing continued kiting over the course of the encounter.
