Slash command

/playernotelocal name

Opens Note window for a player.

This command can use either a character name or a global name. If a character name is used, the command will automatically look up the player's global name and add it to the note, but only if that specific character is currently logged into the game.

  • Do not use the @ prefix for global names when you type the command into the chat box.
  • Notes can later be edited or updated.
  • This command can be used whether the player is present or not (or even offline) as long as
1) you know their global name, or
2) you have previously created the note.
  • Notes are stored in playernotes.txt located in the <COHInstallDirectory>\accounts\<AccountName>\

TIP: /getglobalname can be used to look up any player's global name, whether the other player or character is online or offline.

Note: To add a note to an in-game character without this command, right-click on a character and select Add Note. This will open a window for note entry and display the player's global and character names. If a note has already been created for that player, instead of "Add Note" the context menu will display "Edit Note".

Example

/playernotelocal "Super Slug"
