City of Heroes comic books were produced by three different companies from 2002-2007: Dark Horse Comics (one-issue preview), Blue King Studios (12-issue series), and Top Cow Productions (20-issue series).
City of Heroes Collectible Card Game

Alderac Entertainment produced the City of Heroes Collectible Card Game in 2005, with an expansion set, Secret Origins, in 2006. The game has been discontinued.

Novels

Two novels were published by CDS Books: "The Web of Arachnos," by Robert Weinberg, was released in October, 2005, and "The Freedom Phalanx," by Robin D. Laws, was released in April, 2006. A third novel, "The Rikti War," was planned from the beginning of the series, but was eventually abandoned.
Strategy Guides

Prima Games produced several different editions of strategy guides for City of Heroes and City of Villains.
Art Collection
A collection of concept art and other images from the development of the game. Villain cover and content on one side, Hero cover and content on the other. Included with the City of Villains Collector's Edition.
Sketchbook
This sketchbook was produced in May, 2008, by Draw the World Together, a project that creates possibilities for children through art, as a charitable fundraiser for EveryChild. The 32-page book featured sketches of prominent CoX characters contributed by 22 artists, including Dave Gibbons, Doug Braithwaite, Al Davison, Andrew Wildman, and David Nakayama. Limited to 500 copies.

NCsoft Dual Release T-shirt
A Shirt produced by NCsoft to advertise and celebrate the release of two new games (at the time) City of Heroes, and Lineage 2. These shirts were not purchasable, but only obtainable from cons and some store promotion packages.

A heroic blue shirt with the traditional star at its center. This shirt is only sold in the PlayNC store in the EU due to its creation after the US branch discontinued merchandise sales.

North American version of the EU shirt, introduced for 2009 NCsoft convention booths sales. Also seen during 2010 conventions but never sold online.
Villain Shirt 1

A Limited Edition T-shirt created by the player Syrusb to help celebrate City of Heroes' 5 Year Anniversary. This shirt was available in limited quantities during 2009 and only for NCsoft booths at attended conventions in North America.

Poster given away as part of the marketing campaign for the City of Villains release.
Good VS Evil
A poster designed to go with the release of the Good Versus Evil Edition of the City of Franchise. This poster was never purchasable in North America, but can be acquired from the EU website, or from Conventions at the time of the GvE's release.
Miscellaneous Items
Lord Recluse Statue
A hand painted resin statue that stands at a height of 23cm. These statues are available from the EU store, but have only been seen in America in background sections of developer office photos and a single one that was sold on eBay as part of a 2007 winter charity event.
CoV Cape
The much sought after Villains cape. These capes are made from 100% polyester and dyed black with a bright red Arachnos symbol on the back. The size of these capes is intended to be comparable to the short cape length found in-game.
These capes were available to the player base through conventions and a few contests. Some advertisement kits given out to promote the upcoming release of City of Villains contained these items as well. These kits were given mostly to press and certain stores, but players were able to sign up on the marketing company's website in limited quantity to receive the promotional kits in an attempt to promote viral advertising for the game.

Bumper stickers with various CoH-related phrases. Available ones are "I'm Not a Real Hero, but I Play One Online," "Where Heroes Come to Life," "Unleash the Hero Within," "I'd Rather Be Fighting Villain!" and "Evil Doesn't Sleep, Why Should You?"
HeroClix Figures

Eight Limited Edition HeroClix figures were released with special boxed versions of the City of Heroes and City of Villains games.

Projector Pens
Pen-shaped LED flashlights with filters built in so that they project the Hero or Villain logo on walls or other flat surfaces. Introduced for the 2009 convention run at $8.00 apiece, they returned in 2010 and have also been given out with most major official contests since their introduction.
Hero and Villain Pint Glasses
Pint glasses featuring the Hero or Villain logos. These glass cups were available starting in 2009 at NCsoft convention booths and were purchasable for $5 each.
Awesome Button
A button based on an advertising skit done by RoosterTeeth for Paragon Studios to promote the Architect Edition of the game. Most likely a parody of Staples' 'easy button' ads. Sold at NCsoft attended cons in 2009 and 2010 for $4 each.
Hero Archetype Pins
Shirt Pins with various Hero archetype logos on them. Available at NCsoft attended conventions in 2008, 2009, and 2010. Individual pins in 2009 and 2010 cost $4.00, with the whole set (8 pins) costing $25.00.
Please note that there are 2 versions of this pin set. The 2008 variety were fairly normal metal pins but only came in the original Archetypes with no Epics. For 2009, the 5th anniversary of the game, nicer metal ones with 2 prong backs and a silvery border were produced.
