Avalanche
Aegis is a Resist Damage enhancement set in the Invention System. It is available in the 10-50 level range.
There are six enhancements in this set:
- Aegis: Accuracy/Damage,
- Aegis: Damage/Endurance,
- Aegis: Accuracy/Damage/Recharge,
- Aegis: Accuracy/Damage/Endurance,
- Aegis: Accuracy/Damage/Endurance/Recharge, and
- Aegis: Recharge/Chance for Knockdown
.
Only one of each of these types of enhancements may be slotted per power, except for unique enhancements which, if present, are denoted by the symbol and are limited to one per build.
Avalanche is an Attuned Enhancement set from Super Packs and Reward Merit Vendors. It is a PBAoE Damage set that can be slotted by any character level 10 or higher.
There are six enhancements in this set:

The following set bonuses apply when slotting more than one of the enhancements in this set into a single power:
- Two enhancements increases Slow Resistance by 10%.
- Three enhancements increases Fire and Cold Resistance by 3%.
- Three enhancements reduces the duration of Immobilize effects on you by 5%.
- Three enhancements reduces the duration of Hold effects on you by 5%.
- Three enhancements reduces the duration of Stun effects on you by 5%.
- Three enhancements reduces the duration of Sleep effects on you by 5%.
- Three enhancements reduces the duration of Fear effects on you by 5%.
- Three enhancements reduces the duration of Confuse effects on you by 5%.
- Four enhancements increases Recovery by 2%.
- Five enhancements increases Melee Defense by 1.875%.
- Five enhancements increases Smashing and Lethal Defense by 0.9375%.
- Six enhancements increases Fire and Cold Defense by 3.75%.
- Six enhancements increases Area Effect Defense by 1.875%.
The standard Avalanche enhancements become Superior by applying an Enhancement Catalyst, individually, to each standard piece. The standard and Superior versions of each enhancement are mutually exclusive.
