Overview

Kinetic Melee features a mix of fast light attacks and slow heavy attacks, including some with range. All attacks in this set reduce the damage strength of enemies who are hit.

Kinetic Melee is a primary powerset for Brutes, Scrappers, and Stalkers, and a secondary powerset for Tankers.

A valid Going Rogue code is required for access to this powerset.

KineticAttack AssassinsStrike.png Assassin's Strike

A signature Stalker attack. This attack does moderate damage on its own as a frontal attack. However, if it is executed while you are Hidden, this attack will do tremendous smashing and energy damage, as you waylay your unsuspecting foe. This attack may be interrupted if you move or are attacked while executing this power.

By focusing your energy into the muscles in your arms, you can launch a dizzying flurry of attacks against every foe in melee range. Some foes may be hit hard enough to be knocked down as well.

KineticAttack TotalFocus.png Concentrated Strike

Concentrated Strike is a slow, but incredibly devastating attack that can knock out most opponents, leaving them Disoriented. Due to the exhausting nature of Concentrated Strike, recharge time is very long. Concentrated Strike Criticals do not result in extra damage, instead it instantly recharges the Power Siphon/Build Up power.

Challenges a foe to attack you. Useful to pull a villain off an ally who finds themselves in over their head. A To Hit check required to Taunt enemy players, but is not needed against critter targets.

KineticAttack Placate.png Placate

Allow you to trick a foe to no longer attack you. A Successful Placate will also Hide you. This Hide is very brief, and offers no Defense bonus, but it will allow you to deliver a Critical Hit or an Assassins Strike. However, if you attack a Placated Foe, he will be able to attack you back.

KineticAttack PowerSiphon.png Power Siphon

Power Siphon adds a small bonus to hit and modifies your other Kinetic Attack powers, so they are now capable of draining the strength of your enemies and adding that strength to you. This effect will stack up to 5 times

Taunts a foe, and some nearby foes, to attack you. Useful for pulling villains off an ally who find themselves in over their head. Taunted foes tend to ignore other Heroes and focus on your for quite a while, so use this power cautiously. An Accuracy check required to Taunt enemy players, but is not needed against critter targets.
