Story Summaries
How would folks feel if we added a section to each I trial page giving a brief rundown of the storyline for each trial? I know this is an odd time to add content like this but it came up in one of the Forum threads or another... Obviously there's be little to no in-game quotes added. - I'm all for it, although I constantly cite the wiki's lack of trial story as a point against the trials, and this would ruin my argument! :p Or maybe help, I don't know. I think the severe lack of documentation works against anything more than a brief summary. Looking at the various trials (Category:Trials_and_Task_Forces) it looks like the I-trials are formatted the same way, in four sections: overview, in detail (mechanics of the trial), rewards, then strategy. I would suggest putting a "storyline" section immediately after the overview. It could also be a subsection of the overview or the "in detail" section.
- As far as actually getting all the text in, the Death from Below and Drowning in Blood trials do this - however, they appear to have actual mission structure, more like a TF, than the I-trials' stages. In fact, based on my perusal of the things listed at Trial and Incarnate Trial, other than those two, all the trials (including the respec trials, interestingly) do not have much in the way of storyline or dialog. One of the key things that drives edits here is consistency, and right now, storyline and dialog are not a big thing for trial articles. This is pretty darned unfortunate, but I think that whatever changes / additions are made to I-trial pages should be included across all trials. Whether that means a section for all the dialog, or just a brief blurb, they could all use it. Felderburg 08:30, 6 July 2014 (UTC)
