Talk:Titles
Issue 8 changes
From the patch notes
Titles
- Players may now change their title at levels 15, 25, 35, and 45. These title changes do not stack (if you do not use the one you get at level 25 when you reach level 35, you only have the level 35 change, and lose the level 25 one). At 50, players may change their title without restriction. Talk to any trainer to change your title in this manner.
I will move this data to the main article once I8 hits live.--Konoko 07:05, 13 October 2006 (PDT)
- Might as well put it on the main article anyway, since I've already added the Vet titles. But put the data under a seperate heading and use the Issue8 template on that section. Also, I went and redid the tables as one big table rather than nested tables, so things line up better. Do you want the Level 25 items to be centered? User:StarGeek/sig 13:47, 15 October 2006 (PDT)
- OOO! That looks nice! I'll miss the nested spiffyness, but this looks much cleaner. I say it looks good as is, headings bold and center, titles left aligned. I'll see about re-writing the Overview --Konoko 04:41, 16 October 2006 (PDT)
Overview
Heroes and villains can earn titles in the game. These titles appear above the character's name. You can have up to three titles above your name in addition to the word 'The'.
These are separate from Badge Titles which appear below the character's name.
When can I earn these titles?
At levels 15, 25, 35, and 45, in addition to freely changing your title at level 50. However, title changes 'tokens' do not stack. If you have not changed your title at level 25 and wait until 35, you can only change your title once before level 45.
Why are there origin lists? It looks like I can have 8 instead of 3.
Every character can pick from the first collumn labeled Level 15 Titles. These titles are unlocked at level 15. You have to pick one of these (even None) in order to pick from the second column at level 25.
At level 25, the Origin specific titles are unlocked. You can only pick from a list that pertains to your origin.
I have no clue how Veteran titles work, I assume they're available at level 15, as part of veterans rewards.
Tables
What if we re-aranged it into a table? The upper table is my 'test' table, the lower one was my first attempt --Konoko 04:13, 10 March 2006 (PST)
- Looks good, stick it in there. Only thing I'd suggest is make the first line {| width=100% so it spreads out evenly across the width instead of being bunched up to the left (or, as I've just noticed, set the individual widths like you did in your first attempt). --StarGeek 11:13, 10 March 2006 (PST)
- The lower table is a bunch of nested tables, and you're right, it looks better. --Konoko 07:24, 11 March 2006 (PST)
- I definitely prefer your table version and like the last one. Much more organized way of presenting the info. - Snorii 07:34, 11 March 2006 (PST)
Ick... villains have different numbers of titles accross the origins. Gimme a few to correct that with   ; --Konoko 07:47, 11 March 2006 (PST)
- Well the Origin's would line up if Technology wasn't such a long word.--Konoko 07:52, 11 March 2006 (PST)
