Damage <type> as an Attribute

From Arcanaville:

"What we call "damage buffs" are really strength modifiers, specifically strength modifiers for the different damage types. If your Lethal Strength is increased, all powers that deal Lethal damage will be strengthened. But also, all powers that "deal" Lethal resistance will also be strengthened: the "damage buff" is really boosting anything having to do with Lethal. That's why such resistance powers typically have to be flagged to ignore strength modifiers: so they don't pick up "damage buffs." There is a separate flag that deals specifically with the strength modifiers that are inside of enhancements slotted into the power, which is what allows those to continue to work. In fact, resistance enhancements and damage enhancements do exactly the same thing, except on a different schedule. They both boost smash/lethal/fire/cold/energy/negative/toxic/psi Strengths. If there was a damage aura that also boosted resistance, one or the other would have to be tagged unslottable, or else they would both benefit from *both* enhancements."
