Despawn

I might have these mixed up wrt despawning. "Dismiss" might be the one that does not cause despawn. -- Agge (talk) 03:55, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

I just checked with my MM. Dismiss causes the henchmen to perform their despawn animations. Releasepets causes them to fall over dead and then fade out. --Eabrace 04:08, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

Wording in article

Causes all summoned pets and/or henchmen to immediately die and not despawn.
Use /petcom_all, /petcom_name, and /petcom_pow "dismiss" commands to cause all or certain pets to immediately die and despawn.

So, uh, why do the two sentences contradict each other with "die and not despawn" and "die and despawn"? Which one is correct? :D Sera404 05:36, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

Using /release_pets auto-kills the pets outright. The other commands cause them to play through a despawn animation (if they have one) and then disappear. So, both parts are correct, if not necessarily clear on that point. --Eabrace 07:29, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
