Template Useage

I noticed that this template is being used on what appear to be every powerset available to MMs (Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:UnlockMastermind). It particularly caught my eye when I saw it being used on the Thugs powerset. Per discussion on the Soul Mastery page, is it appropriate to say that MMs "require a separate unlock before being able to utilize Thugs"? Once you unlock MMs, Thugs (and their other primary sets) are available by default, right? The wording of the template implies that after unlocking MMs, it requires another unlock to use certain powersets with MMs. I guess maybe the wording of the template could be changed to say something more like "Masterminds must be unlocked before playing" or something like that, but I just don't think it's necessary at all. Now, the fact that MMs (and 'trollers) are premium ATs could be be better advertised in their overviews (as opposed to a small note in the historical section), but I don't think every powerset that can be used by them needs to say they require a separate unlock. Yes, agreed. All of these templates should be nuked, IMO. If a power set required purchase, note that (such as Beast Mastery), but there's no need to note the archetype purchase requirement on power set pages. It's excessive and confusing. The place to highlight that info is in the AT articles, not everywhere else on the wiki. -- Sekoia 22:53, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
