Blistering Cold

Blistering Cold is a Melee Damage attuned enhancement set from Lords of Winter Super Packs and Reward Merit Vendors. It is available in the 10-50 level range.

There are six enhancements in this set:

• Blistering Cold: Accuracy/Damage ,
• Blistering Cold: Damage/Endurance ,
• Blistering Cold: Accuracy/Damage/Recharge ,
• Blistering Cold: Accuracy/Damage/Endurance ,
• Blistering Cold: Accuracy/Damage/Endurance/Recharge , and
• Blistering Cold: Recharge/Chance for Hold  .

Only one of each of these types of enhancements may be slotted per power, except for unique enhancements which, if present, are denoted by the symbol and are limited to one per build.

The following set bonuses apply when slotting more than one of the enhancements in this set into a single power:

• Two enhancements increases Slow Resistance by 10%.
• Three enhancements increases Recovery by 2%.
• Four enhancements increases Fire and Cold Resistance by 4.5%.
• Four enhancements reduces the duration of Immobilize effects on you by 7.5%.
• Four enhancements reduces the duration of Hold effects on you by 7.5%.
• Four enhancements reduces the duration of Stun effects on you by 7.5%.
• Four enhancements reduces the duration of Sleep effects on you by 7.5%.
• Four enhancements reduces the duration of Fear effects on you by 7.5%.
• Four enhancements reduces the duration of Confuse effects on you by 7.5%.
• Five enhancements increases Smashing and Lethal Defense by 1.875%.
• Five enhancements increases Melee Defense by 0.9375%.
• Six enhancements increases Fire and Cold Defense by 3.75%.
• Six enhancements increases Area Effect Defense by 1.875%.

Standard Blistering Cold enhancements become Superior Blistering Cold enhancements by applying an Enhancement Catalyst, individually, to each standard piece. The standard and superior versions of each enhancement are mutually exclusive.
