Ovewview

Lady Grey is a Vanguard ally who can be found during the mission Help with Conference Security. During the mission she had a rank of Henchman and a faction of Vanguard Shield. She uses a variety of Dark powers.

When found in the Help with Conference Security mission, she will have been captured by the Nemesis Army and will need to be assisted and freed from her captors. She will join you for the rest of the mission as an ally. Once you free her, a wave of Nemesis soldiers will attack her. Being a mission objective, you need to free her, but not to escort her. She must survive the whole mission, though.

Background

Ever composed, ever mysterious, the powerful and otherworldly Lady Grey is rumored to be older than Statesman, and one of the most powerful meta-humans on the planet. She was instrumental in the founding of Vanguard, and runs the organization expertly. She takes a great interest in Vanguard's day-to-day operations, and knows all of her troops by name.

Dialogue

During the mission Help with Conference Security, she will be found fighting the Nemesis Army attackers:

Fake Nemesis: They are merely cogs in the great machine of Nemesis.
Dragoon: For Lord Nemesis!

(aggroed)

Lady Grey: Ah, Character, and just in time.
Fake Nemesis: To arms, lads! Have at them!

Once free: The gall of that foolish old man! Well, let us clean up this mess.

Ambush: For Lord Nemesis!

Powers

In Serpent Drummer's first mission, you get to have Lady Grey follow you around to help fight the Nemesis troops. Noting the powers I observed in use here for future reference:

  • Gloom
  • Petrifying Gaze
  • Life Drain
  • Night Fall
  • Dark Servant (when she summons it, rather than her name under its name, the character escorting Lady Grey will be shown)
  • Darkest Night (though it might have been the Servant)
  • Tenebrous Tentacles (again, might have been the Servant)
  • Twilight Grasp
  • Blackstar? (When you finish off the last of the Nemesis troops confronting Lady Grey, she triggers the animation and effects for Blackstar. Since there's nothing left to take out at that point, not sure if it was actually the power going off or just a scripted animation.)
