On-Disc Extras

In-Game Extras

  • Access to City of Villains Beta
  • Access to City of Villains three day head-start (allowed owners to play (after downloading) on October 28, 2005)
  • 14-day free trial of City of Heroes for you and a friend
  • One of four Arachnos Helmet costume pieces (depending on where code was purchased)
    • EB Games: Crab Spider Battle Helmet (male)
    • GameStop: Helmet Of The Blood Widows (female)
    • Best Buy: Arachnos Mystic Helm (male)
    • All other U.S. retailers: Wolf Spider War Helmet (male)

Exclusive Helmets

Only one City of Villains pre-order code could ever be used on any single account. In order to access all four of the Arachnos Helmets on one account, one had to unlock the City of Villains Pre-Order Helmets from Tier 6 of the Paragon Rewards Program.

Bug!

  • Applying the Blood Widow Helm code would sometimes also grant the account access to the Wolf Spider Helmet
  • Helmet/Jump Start codes included in the City of Villains Pre-Orders from stores would stack with other Pre-Order codes allowing 2 helmets
