'''Placate''' is a [[Status Effect]]. An enemy under the affects of a Placate power is unable to target the user of the placate power, until the effect wears off or until the user attacks the enemy. Placate is available to all players through [[Power Pool]]s, but it is a signature power for [[Stalker]]s, available in every Stalker's [[Primary Power Set]]. It is intended to be used in combination with the [[Hide]] power, allowing a Stalker to strike from being Hidden, defeat an enemy, and then Placate a remaining enemy. This hides the Stalker again (if the placated enemy is the only one left) or eliminates some of the damage a Stalker might receive from the defeated enemy's allies.

Placate does not cause [[detoggle|detoggling]].
