Slash command

/usecelshader [0-1]

Enables or disables the cel shader graphics setting that attempts to mimic a "comic book look".

  • 0 = Disabled, 1 = Enabled. Default = 0.
  • This command alters the "Cel Shader" setting in Options--> Graphics and Audio tab--> Experimental Graphics Settings.
  • If used as a slash command, the cel shader setting will only stay in effect until the game client is restarted... unless the Options window is subsequently opened and closed (or the "Apply" button is pressed).
  • /Usecelshader has a known bug that will crash the game client while editing a SG base.
  • /Usecelshader was first introduced in Issue 25.


Command Line Parameter

The command can be made more or less permanent by running it automatically at log-in as a Command Line Parameter. For example, -usecelshader 1.
