Command Line Parameter
- -auth
Auth server IP string.
- This command designates the network IP address for the server that handles authentications. Every player is required to go through the authentication server by typing in their account's username and password in order to get authorization to play the game (i.e., logging in). The Homecoming Launcher handles most of this for you, but if you start the game using the command line (without a launcher), you will need to use this parameter in your command line string.
- The current IP address for the Homecoming authentication server is
51.161.76.201. - If working on your own computer and COH server, the loopback address (127.0.0.1) would work best.
